Payment
$100 is required upon booking your cosmetic tattoo procedure to secure your appointment. This amount as payable at the time of booking and is to be paid via card or bank transfer. The remainder of the treatment cost is paid at your appointment. This can be paid via eftpos, cash, voucher or after pay.
Topical anaesthetic
IMPORTANT** In accordance with the medicines, poisons and therapeutic goods act 2008 we are unable to supply our customers with topical numbing creams. We will contact you prior to your booking date with an ingredient list, you will need to purchase this from your local compounding chemist before your appointment (please note this is different to a regular pharmacy). Please call or pop into your compounding chemist a few days before your appointment to organise your topical anaesthetic as they will take a day or more to make it.
Policies
We do not offer refunds for your cosmetic tattooing in any circumstances. Healing is majority dependent on how well you abide by your aftercare instructions and most importantly what condition your skin is in. Many factors will change the look of your tattooing or stop it from having longevity; UV exposure, chemicals of any nature being applied over the area treated, legal and illicit drugs/medications, predisposed medical conditions, genetics, underlying skin tone etc.
Bookings
Please arrive 10 mins prior to your appointment start time, being late is unfair to clients after you as we operate back to back. If you arrive late to your appointment you will forfeit it.
Please read through all contraindications in the FAQ page before making your appointment. If you are unsure of something please contact your GP first. If you arrive on the day of your booking with a contraindication we will need to cancel your appointment and your booking fee of $100 will be forfeited. It is your responsibility to contact Haus of Cosmetic Tattoo if you have any worries about contraindications before making a booking.
Bookings can be made via our online booking system, phone call, or email. Please note that all cosmetic tattoo bookings require a non-refundable deposit of $100. Prior to booking your appointment you will be required to fill in our online consultation form and send photos of the area to be treated. Consultation appointments require a $50 deposit, this is non-refundable, if you choose to proceed with the procedure, this amount will be taken off your total treatment cost.
If you need to reschedule/cancel your appointment we appreciate being given at least 48 hours notice. The deposit price of $100 is not refundable. All late cancellations within 48hrs of appointments will be charged 50% of the total treatment cost. ‘No shows’ will be charged 100% of their appointment cost.
Haus of Cosmetic Tattoo does not go over other artists work unless extremely lightened or almost non visible . If you are requesting a procedure to be done over previous work we suggest that you have laser removal done prior, please send us photos of the area for us to assess.
Before your appointment
It is important that you prepare for your procedure. Please do not consume alcohol or caffeine, vitamin E, aspirin, niacin, fish oil supplements, ibuprofen for at least 48hrs prior to your appointment. If you have been prescribed Accutane in the past you must wait 1 year before considering having this procedure. Please make sure you are not sunburnt or freshly tanned on or around the area to be treated or your appointment will need to be rescheduled. No tweezing, shaving, waxing, threading of the hair before your procedure.
